I joined The Royal Marsden School in November 2017, prior to which I worked as an oncology nurse for over 10 years.

Having qualified as a nurse in Spain, I worked in a teaching hospital for 4 years covering oncology, haematology, stem cell transplant and palliative care units. In 2011 I finished a Masters Degree in Medical Expertise and shortly afterwards I came to the UK where I worked mainly in oncology. I have enjoyed the experience of different roles over the years, from Staff Nurse, to my previous role which was as an Acute Oncology ANP role at Imperial College Healthcare. In 2016 I finished a PG Dip in Advanced Practice at King’s College London.

I have taught at Complutense University in Madrid, and following that supported junior nurses and students as a Mentor, and have taught Acute Oncology Principles in the clinical setting.

My areas of interest are Acute Oncology and the development of Advanced Practice for nurses.
I am currently teaching the 'Physical Assessment, Acute Cancer Practice and V300: Independent and Supplementary Prescribing' module at The Royal Marsden School, as well as supporting other modules.
