Course summary

This module has been developed to assist Health and Social Care practitioners working in any clinical setting to respond to their clients with care any compassion. Students will be required to examine the values that underpin their clinical practice and explore their professional and therapeutic contribution to patient care. Students will explore the ways in which their role is therapeutic in its own right – distinct from medical interventions.

This is a blended learning module and some content is delivered online.  E-learning materials are released on specified dates and students are expected to log in and participate in the activities during that week. Students do not need to log in at a specific date/ time.
