CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)-Plans for the next academic year.

The teaching staff are now beginning to return to the School to resume their academic activities. They are working at a pace to change the way we deliver our courses. Moving forward, we will be using blended and e-learning methods. We aim to roll out the modules, which were postponed during the initial stages of COVID-19, in a phased approach, starting in September 2020, over an eight-month period. This is in line with Health Education England (HEE) who have proposed an extension to the education contract period. This is to allow time for the recovery of commissions that were postponed due to the pandemic.

As you will recognise because of COVID-19, plans are constantly changing so we will, as the situation evolves, endeavour to keep you informed. The health and wellbeing of our staff and students are our absolute priority.

If you do have any questions or concerns, please refer to our Student Q&A page or contact us at Student Support Services for more information.

What to do next

Before running any bespoke training or study days, The School asks you to complete a short questionnaire about what you are looking for from the course and the learning outcomes that you want to achieve.

Once you have completed the form, a member of the team will then contact you to set up an initial consultation to discuss your needs. This can be face to face or over the phone.

As part of the consultation we will consider:

  • Topics/subject areas
  • Anticipated learning outcomes
  • Type of course e.g. credit-bearing, worked based learning, short course, study days
  • Involvement of your staff in course delivery
  • Number of participants
  • Budget
  • Potential dates

Once we have a clear understanding of what you are looking for, we will put together a proposal document.  This includes an overview of the course and key learning items, proposed dates and the price. The School provides a short final report to all organisations that we deliver training for. This includes details of how the course was evaluated by attendees, and how their knowledge and skills changed as a result of attending.

If you are interested in finding out more about our bespoke education opportunities, or would like to discuss your ideas further, please contact Christian Rowley, Business Manager on 020 7808 2117 or email
